About Centacare Catholic Community Services - Personal Support Program Sutherland

The Personal Support Program provides support, counselling and referral for people who are experiencing major barriers and personal difficulties prior to seeking employment. These barriers may include; psychological conditions; physical/intellectual disability; poor literacy skills; substance abuse issues; social isolation. The program represents an acknowledgement that such people need individual attention and cannot be properly helped by a simplistic 'one size fits all' approach. Clients work with a case manager to develop goals and strategies to overcome their barriers. Acts to encourage increased participation in meaningful social and economic activities.
