Provides a Mobility allowance to people over 16 years with disabilities who are in employment, vocational training, a combination of work or training, or voluntary work, and who are unable to use public transport without substantial assistance. Claim forms can be posted to you or picked up at any Centrelink Customer Service Centre. Intent to Claim: You may be able to register an Intent to Claim for Mobility Allowance and get your payment approved sooner. You should register your Intent to Claim as soon as possible by phoning Centrelink on 132717 or in person at any Centrelink Customer Service Centre.
