Low level care residential facility (hostel) for the frail aged and financially disadvantaged. It aims to provide an environment of care where personal privacy is respected, independence enhanced, choices maximised and to foster development of a stimulating and supportive community. All rooms have an ensuite and each of the four floors has its own dining room and communal lounge. Care is available 24 hours a day with on call buttons in all rooms and bathrooms. Residents are assessed by government health workers for their level of need and can receive rehabilitation support, help with daily living activities and certain treatments and procedures. There is no entry fee, and regular fees are set by government as a percentage of the pension. 60 low level places.
