Council provides information on a range of services to residents of the City of Canterbury Council, works closely with community, organisations, hosts community events and provides a range of services to residents. Council also provides a community development function and works closely with local groups and clubs and other peak bodies and government departments to identify local social and community needs and develop strategies to resolve or alleviate gaps in service provisions.
