About Community Nursing Service - Dubbo

The Community Nursing Service provides a service to residents of Dubbo local government area. nCommunity nurses are registered and enrolled nurses, who provide for the nursing needs of clients who are living in the community. A Community Nurse can assess the needs of the client and implement appropriate care, and if necessary refer to appropriate services.nTypes of services offered include: facilitation of appropriate medication management, Chronic Venous Ulcer Clinic, information/referrals to community and other health professionals, support for terminally ill patients, injections, wound care, support, health assessment, and health education. The purchase of pharmaceuticals is the responsibility of the individual patient
