About Community Paediatric Team - Gosford

The Community Paediatric Team consists of two community Paediatric Registered Nurses and a Social Worker who offer services to children (aged 0 - 15) Their case description does not cover patients with a developmental disability unless they have associated chronic medical needs. The team liaise closely with other health professionals who also care for/work with families. Services provided are: Nursing care; information and education; counselling and emotional support; referral to occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy services when appropriate and assist families to access respite and other community resources.
