The Community Visitors Scheme is a national service providing volunteers for companion care to residents of residential aged care facilities who have limited family / social contact and are socially isolated. Centres visited: Georgina Hostel, Buckingham Gardens, Carindale Crt N/HClem Jones Home, Edwin Marsden Home Moreton Bay N/H, Nazareth House, Pleasantville, The Pines , Prince Willem Alexadrer Village,Regis Grange, Mandalay, Wellington Park NH, Carindale NH, Carindale Brooke, Lake Sherrin complex, Redland Residential Care, Tri-Care Mt Gravatt Private Hostel.nVisitor on a one to one basis fortnightly.nWheelchair access - ground level or lift.nTransport: Volunteers must be able to provide own transport or get their own public transport.
