Provides accommodation for people on a low income (either pension or wages). There is a waiting list for housing. However applications are assessed on a need and priority housing ranking may be possible. Operates three housing programs - community, affordable and market. Each program has different guidelines, however, generally the community program is for people eligible for DOH assistance, the affordable program is for low to moderate income earners and the market program is an alternative to real estate agencies for landlords. The market program has the flexibility to meet the needs of tenants outside program guidelines. Each program has different waiting periods. The houses are in different locations. As a result of the diversity it is recommended that interested persons ring or visit the office.
