Nareen Garden's Corella Cottage Dementia Day Centre provides specialist care for sufferers of Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders in a secure homelike environment. They offer Specialised Dementia Assessment and activities are based on the clients' abilities. If transport is a problem they can arrange travel by car to any of the centres for a small fee. During the day activities are offered to support the daily living skills of the individual, activities include Bread Making, BBQs, Gardening, Meal Preparation, Gentle Exercise, Leisurely Walks, Music Therapy, Social Outings, Craft (activities vary from cottage to cottage) All clients are provided with a hot meal which is prepared and cooked on site. 3 places available for 7 days respite & 1 drop-in place available for short term respite.
