About COTA (Council on The Ageing) - NSW

COTA(NSW)is a peak body representing the needs and interests of all people over 50 years of age, residing in NSW, which equates to over 29% of the state's population. COTA(NSW) analyses the effects of government policies and services and liaises with government in developing and implementing policies. COTA(NSW) has over 5,000 individual and organisational members. It offers a range of services and benefits including regular newsletters for members, access to a comprehensive information service and library, publications, access to seminars, education courses and forums through which members can make their opinions heard by government, business and industry. Community projects include peer education, medication management, healthy ageing talks, and grandparenting.
