About CREATE Team

A multidisciplinary rehabilitation service that works to develop partnerships with other organisations that provide opportunities for work, recreation, leisure, education and training. It has partnerships with TAFE, in particular with their outreach, disabilities, OTEN and counselling services. Courses include: Coffee Shop Skills; Computer Skills; Horticulture; First Aid; and Computer Tutorials. CREATE can help pave the way by giving people assistance with contacts to the counselling services, information about the availability of additional funding and the entitlements available to people on a Disability Support Pension. CREATE staff are also responsible for the management of MARS Inc employees. MARS Inc is a non profit business enterprise set up to create work for people who have a psychiatric disability. Employment options include apprenticeships, part time and casual employment.
