CRS Australia (Community Rehabilitation Services) has two major roles, employment programs and injury prevention. Their employment rehabilitation programs focus on understanding the needs of a person with a disability or injury and the barriers they face in getting or keeping a job. Rehabilitation Consultants design and manage a program by working with the client, their Doctor, their employer and others to identify and achieve the best possible outcomes. Specific services may include: assessment of the person's vocational, physical or psychological needs; advice and counselling on employment options; development of a person's work related skills and abilities; on-the-job training and assessment and assistance with job redesign, alternative duties or workplace modifications.The injury prevention component of CRS provides a variety of personalised injury management and prevention services in partnership with employers and insurers.
