Services provided include - n- Free Legal Advice and Referral - at the Migrant Resource Centre.n- Intervention Order Support Service - free legal advice, representation and welfare support for applicants seeking intervention orders at the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court.n- Community Legal Education - available to secondary schools and community groups.n- Training and Support - for legal centre volunteers.n- Prisons Project - focuses on law reform and the human rights of detained persons. Legal advice, information and referral for men in custody are available.n- Advocacy Program for Women in Prison - a volunteer organisation providing assistance for women in custody and for their families. Legal advice, information, referral and networking with welfare and support agencies is available.n- Youth Referral and Independent Person Program - provides an independent person to be present during police questioning of children aged 5 to 17 years old when a parent or guardian is unavailable.
