About Dementia Care Team - Friendship Day Care - Grevillea Cottage

Day Respite is offered at Grevillea Cottage on a Monday and Friday between 10 am - 2 pm. The Dementia Care Team will offer respite to the client after an assessment has been made of the client's physical, social and mental abilities. The centre is staffed by a Registered Nurse and endorsed enrolled nurse, each trained in dementia nursing care. It is facilitated in small groups with a safe, non-threatening family atmosphere. Limited transport to and from each centre is available within a given distance from the facility. This is arranged by the Centre Co-ordinator.
