About Dental Board Of Queensland

The Dental Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Dentists, Dental Specialists and Dental Auxilliaries (dental therapists and dental hygeinists) in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practice as a Dentist, Dental Specialist or Dental Auxilliary or hold themself out to be a Dentist or a Dental Specialist and dental auxilliaries, he or she must first register with the Board. The Board administers the Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001 and other relevant legislation.
