About Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) - Central Coast Community Support Team
DADHC has 4 business streams: COMMUNITY ACCESS an info/intake service including entry to Community Support Teams (CSTs), Day Programs and Respite Centres. CSTs consist of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Community Workers, Behaviour Intervention Clinicians, Community Nurses. They provide information/referral, assessment, behaviour intervention, support for carers and therapies i.e. assistance with seating, communication and eating problems. ACCOMMODATION AND RESPITE runs the group homes, residential facities and respite centres. HOMECARE helps older people/people with disabilities to continue to live independently in their homes by providing domestic support, personal care and respite for carers. It also operates the Attendant Care Program, which supports people with disabilities who need high levels of support. SERVICE DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING manages relationships and contact with DADHC funded service providers.
