The Department for Communities role is to enhance and support the social wellbeing and participation of key community groups; children and young people, seniors, women, carers, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. They provide the following services:-nChild Care Licensing and Standards Unit nFamily & Domestic Violence Unit nOffice for Children & Youth nOffice of Multicultural InterestsnOffice for Women's Policy nOffice for Seniors Interests and CarersnVolunteering SecretariatnParent Help CentrenThe strong families program is run from this office(This is an inter-agency program)nRegional Coordination Responses to Family and Domestic Violence (RCRFDV)ndo not provide direct support to people in need.
