The Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) assists members of the veteran community to be as independent and self reliant as possible through the provision of equipment and appliances. Provides self-help and rehabilitation equipment to veterans with a clinically assessed need.nAssistance with the repair of existing aids and appliances may be obtained in certain circumstances. Includes continence supplies through National Continence Supplies (1300 788 855)as prescribed by a Dr or continence specialist. (Contact DVA for details). Also includes personal alarms. Anyone needing such should have their doctor make out a referral to an occupational therapist who will conduct an assessment and put in application to DVA if alarm considered as necessary.
