Quality aids and appliances may help minimise the impact of disabilities and assist individuals to care for themselves and to undertake daily activities.nThe program provides safe and appropriate equipment:n . according to assessed clinical need;n . in an efficient and timely manner; andn . as a part of the overall management of an individual's health care. (includes the supply of personal alarm systems for eligible veterans).
