About Disability Advocacy & Information Service Inc.

Community based advocacy services are funded to provide assistance and support to people with disabilities to ensure their rights as valued members of our community are upheld, and ensure they actively participate in decision-making processes, particularly those where the outcomes impact on their lives.nnProvides advocacy and support for people with disabilities, their carers and families in North East Victoria and south west NSW. Provides systemic advocacy through local, State and Federal governments and other service providers.nSupports disability-related self help groups and organisations.nEmploys a HACC equity and Access Worker.nUndertakes research and development projects.nConducts a regional community education service to promote the positive aspects of people with a disability.
