About Disability Projects (RMCCRC)

Respite services for carers of profoundly disabled children, who need a break. The respite can be for emergency or short-term respite and can involve direct care to the care recipient in the home or out of the home provided at an alternative venue. Respite care is assessed and prioritised by carer needs and present circumstances & may include flexible type services eg; personal care, domestic assistance or transport. Short-term respite may be provided to cover for a carer who needs to be absent from their caring role for a short while. All requests are subject to available funding at the time of request.
