This facility has 53 hostel beds and a 13 bed low care dementia specific unit. There are also 20 2-bedroom and 22 1-bedroom resident-funded self care units, and 42 publicly funded units (rented through the Department of Housing). The building has a terrace area and facilities for craft activities, a refurbished dining room, a residents lounge, an on-site laundry and there is a hairdresser on site. Birds and fish are allowed. Self care tenure is by loan licence agreement and low care is by a resident agreement as per the Aged Care Act. Some 1-bedroom self care units are available for rental through the Department of Housing.
