About Ethnic Communities Council - Multicultural Groups Co-ordination Project

Co-ordinates multicultural friendship groups for the aged and young people with disabilities in the Lower and Upper Hunter Region, and Port Stephens area. Also run day care at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club- for the well aged or those with disabilities (physical and intellectual) and some carer respite - ehtnospecific and multicultural. Also other general multicultural services e.g. library. Looking to set up dementia-respite daycare subject to funding (have facililty) - harmony garden etc. Work closely with MRC carer program. Comprehensive range of languages/ethnic groups catered for.
