About Family Child Care Service, Central Coast - Partners in Parenting

A positive parenting program offering mums & dads practical support & mentoring in a Family Day Care (FDC) home. Parents of pre-school children who are experiencing difficulties in their parenting role can be mentored by an experienced family day carer. Parents bring their children once a week to visit the FDC home and while their child engages in the activities in that centre the Parents & FDC carer observe and discuss parenting practices such as settling, weaning or nutrition, play skills, socialising or behaviour.
