About Family Integrated Respite

The service offers flexible, integrated respite for children 0-18 years, living in the Nepean (Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains) area, who have moderate to severe disabilities and high support needs. The program aims to provide care for the child with a disability, without separating them from their family. This may include individual care so that the family can attend weddings, picnics, etc. Respite care is provided for a limited number of families, with carefully selected, trained carers, for the duration of their allocated funding - for the financial year.
