About Family Relationship Advice Line

A free telephone hotline that provides a comprehensive range information including dispute resolution options and different resolution pathways. Also provides information on alternatives to going to court, such as mediation or counselling, child abduction and recovery, adoption, child support, parenting plans and orders, relocation and children's residence protection issues, such as family violence, child abuse, injunctions and protection orders, getting legal help, including legal aid marriage and relationships outside marriage and emotional and financial support. Call Centre operators will not provide specific legal advice. People who need specific advice about their own cases will be directed to professionals, such as counsellors or legal advisers in their local area.
