About Family Support Service - Australian Red Cross

The Family Support Service involves volunteers providing in-home support and practical assistance to families caring for multiple birth babies, and families sufering from post-natal depression and are socially isolated. Trained volunteers typically spend one morning or afternoon each week with the same family and assist with general childcare duties. The Service currently works with families in Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Kalgoorlie and Geraldton. (Updated September 2008)
