About Florence Nightingale Society of Tasmania

The basic principle of the Society is to enhance the life of aged and/or incapacitated nurses by providing equipment to enable them to enjoy an extension of their independence, mobility and comfort. The society is able to assist with equipment on an "on loan" basis including: wheelchairs, walkers, special chairs, commode/shower chairs, heat packs, special doonas, stools, beds, mattresses, spectacles, dentures and hearing aids.
