About Friendship Program - Brisbane Regional Office

The Friendship Program encourages friendships between people with a disability and other community members. nThe aim is to match adults with any disability, who are socially isolated, with either a community contact, recreation or social club of their choice. Assistance is provided until both parties feel comfortable; ongoing support is offered. The primary target population is adults with a disability who are not in receipt of a disability support service.nThere are also offices which cover Logan, Gold Coast, Redlands, Ipswich, Caboolture, Pine Rivers, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Maryborough, Cairns and Townsville.
