About Gosford City Family Support Service Inc

Gosford Family Support Service provides in-home support (with experienced Family Support Workers) to families with children 0-16 years. This service is provided to families within the Gosford LGA by a professionally trained team. This centre runs parenting skills groups & has specialists in the areas of Early Intervention, Grandparent Carers, Disabilities, and Young Parents. Educational groups for Young Parents jointly run with TAFE are held at Umina and Blue Haven. There is a chat group/drop-in centre at Long Jetty (phone centre for details). Centrelink attends centre each Tuesday and Legal Advice is available on the first Monday of each Month (phone 4340 1585 to make appointment). This service inconjunction with Horizons Family Services & SaCCs (Wyong & Umina) operates CHIC - Children Having Individual Challenges Support Group for caregivers.
