About Grampians Community Health Centre - Rural Access

The goal of RuralAccess is to enhance the capacity of rural and regional communities in Victoria to plan and provide support for people with disabilities and their families, to maximise opportunities for community membership and participation. Aims include to mobilize a broad range of resources and support to enable the participation and inclusion of people with a disability in the life of their local community. To build and strengthen the community's capacity to include people with disabilities and their families through a range of strategies including Networking, Community education, Policy development, Partnership development andnspecific project development. To develop a framework for Integrated Local Community Planning to enhance the capacity of disability service providers to support the community membership aspirations of people with disabilities. Improve access to information about issues, services and community activities.
