YMCA Perth and RUCSN are the joint community partners delivering the Great Foundations strategy in Albany, Bremer Bay, Denmark, Mt Barker and Walpole. It is an initiative of GS GP Network to work with families with children 0-5yo through the lower GS Family Centre .nGreat Foundations is designed to deliver culturally appropriate, accessible services and information relevant to early childhood learning and parenting skills; for increasing engagement between the community and available resources. It involves delivering a community tailored packages that will be set up as a menu of options incorporating parenting skills programs, language and literacy programs, playgroup and support early attachment. Iincluding single parent, young mothers, fathers and other carers. E.g. play in the park; ante natal classes,helping the dads; social skills for pre-schoolers; and kids in hospital.
