About Hampton Road Service

Community-based mental heath service for non-acute clients who are referred by their case-managers. They can come for respite , support, diversional therapy or for cilnical stepdown. In short, this service provides community based support for up to 4 weeks for adults who are experiencing significant deterioration in their optimum level of functioning as a result of their psychiatric disability. It offers support where the preferred choice is the least restrictive, appropriate alternative to acute psychiatric inpatient treatment.nProgrammes Available:nClients live in a domestic environment, taking responsibility for their own shopping and cooking (with support as necessary), cleaning and share of household chores. They are free to come and go as they please and are only required to pay a nominal fee to cover the cost of shared household goods and a refundable deposit.
