About Health Care Complaints Commission
An independent organisation that acts to ensure the public health and safety by dealing with complaints about health service providers (public and private) in NSW. The Commission assesses and resolves complaints. The Commission has also the power to investigate and prosecute serious complaints. nAnyone who is concerned about a health service can contact the commission's Inquiry Service. After listening to the concerns, the Inquiry Officer will discuss thenoptions available and can also provide information about, and referralto other organisations, as required. Complaint forms can be downloaded from the website. The Commission can provide assistance with lodging a complaint, if required.
