Assists community groups in preparing funding submissions, initiates community health promotion projects such as improving public transport systems, breakfast projects, promoting exercise, public safety, environmental issues, runs community consultations on health related issues, convenes health seminars and conferences, provides education and information regarding community development and health promotion. Facilites Task Forces ina reas such as HIV/AIDS prevention, anti-smoking campaigns, the aged. Membership availabel for inidividual $5, community organisation $10 or coporate and govt $25 - provides quarterly newsletter and other benefits.
