About Home Assist Secure - Gympie and Cooloola

HAS aims to remove some of the practical housing related difficulties experienced by older people (over 60) or people with a disability who wish to remain living in their home. HAS provides free information on safety and security within the home to those who meet the target. To be eligible for subsidised assistance people must also be in receipt of Commonwealth govt pension or benefit, and unable to make use of alternative forms of assistance, such as HACC, VHC, family or friends.
