About Horizons - Wyong Family Support Service
The aim of the service provides family support and counselling to families who live in the Wyong area, with dependent children under 16 living with them . Family Support Counsellors offer home visiting as well as interviews at the offices in The Entrance or Bateau Bay. The Family workers will advocate on behalf of their clients. They will refer clients to the appropriate service. They hold a grandparents support group 1st Wednesday of every month (except during school holidays). This service inconjunction with Gosford City Family Support Services & SaCCs (Wyong & Umina) operates CHIC - Children Having Individual Challenges Support Group for caregivers.
