About Host Home Day Care

The Host Home Day Program is an innovative model of respite care. The unique feature of this program is that rather than providing respite from a day centre or from the carer's own home, the Host Home Day Care worker's home is used to operate the respite program. The Host Home Day Care worker is paid, trained and supported and their home is risk assessed. Fee includes 6 hours respite, morning and afternoon tea and a hot lunch.
