HWNS operates a range of Business Services providing supported employment for people over the age of 16 in receipt of DSP who meet the entry criteria of HWNS. Employment training and support are provided through a variety of employment options that include, packaging, grounds maintenance, recycling, engineering and commercial laundry service. Community Support services operated by HWNS are funded by the Dept of Ageing, Disability & Home Care and include, post school programs, adult training learning and support, active linkage initiative, boarding house reform, community based activities, supported accommodation services. nThe HWNS also operates an unfunded social service on a small fee for service basis. The HWNS operates its own fundraising division. Hunter regional sites operate from Lambton, Warabrook & Valentine / Croudace Bay & Port Stephens.n HWNS is an approved provider under Commonwealth Respite Service.
