About Hunter New England Mental Health Service

HNEMH provides specialist mental health services (ie assessment, treatment, consultation) for people with mental health problems and disorders. Service is provided in collaboration with other health and community services including - but not limited to - GP's and NGO's funded to provide non-clinical mental health support services. The service is community based and hospital supported and operates in more than 20 locations across the area including 3 hospitals at James Fletcher, Maitland, Morisset, Taree, Tamworth and Armidale.
