TTY (02) 4227 6389.nThe IDRS provides home based respite to carers of people with dementia who have developed challenging behaviours. The service provides flexible respite options up to 4 hours per week. Assessment for eligibility is undertaken and qualified paid staff provide the care.nThe IDRS also offers a Twilight Tour bus trip twice a week. The bus operates on a Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm - 6 pm. The idea of this bus outing is to alleviate and reduce the effects of 'sundowning'. It is staffed by two nurses and a volunteer driver. The cost is $4 per trip.
