About Illawarra Stroke Recovery Group

This group meets on the first Thursday of each month, 10.30 am at the Woonona/ Bulli RSL club with guest speakers. The group aims to promote self confidence in stroke people and carers and distribute up to date information on new developments and therapies. Contact for meeting times. Lunch is available at the members own expense. No transport is provided, so members must be able to arrange their own transport to and from meetings.nOn the second Thursday of each month an outing is organised. The bus leaves from the carpark of the club at 9 am and returns at 4 pm. Costs are kept as low as possible, but members need to pay own expenses.nMembership is $16 per year for single people, and $22 per year for member and carer.
