About Interchange Northern Region

Interchange agencies provide the following services to assist families and carers - n- Host Programs - provide respite care to families who have a child or adult with a disability. The care is provided on a regular basis within the volunteer's own home, for example one day, an overnight stay or weekend each month. These arrangements are flexible to suit the volunteers and families needs.n- Recreation Programs - a range of fun community based activities. The program provides opportunities for friendships and new exciting experiences, while giving families a short break. Recreation activities could include going to a movie, learning to canoe or having a picnic in a park with friends.
