About JewishCare - Carer Support Group

This carer support group meets monthly in a confidential and relaxed environment. The purpose of this group is to reduce carer feelings of isolation and frustration. Functions include;nexplain more about the disease process and what to expect, help plan for the future and advise on coping strategies that work on a day-to-day basis, provide education on the latest treatments and management principles, provide support and link to other community services, educate family and friends so that persons with dementia are better understood, increase well-being, provide mutual support and encouragement.
