It provides a range of services such as obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine, trauma, cardiology, CCU, cardiac catheter lab and cardiac surgery, day procedures, HEAPPS (Hunter Elective Admissions Planning and Preparation Service), nephrology, Kidney transplant, anaesthesia and intensive care, neonatal intensive care, high dependency, acute nursing service (4 beds,) brain injury, neurology and neurosurgery and a full range of sub-specialty medical and surgical services including endocrinology, gastroenterology, haematology, endoscopy, infectious diseases, immunology, orthopaedics, plastics, otolaryngology, thoracic, liaison psychiatry andoutpatients.
