About Joondalup Health Campus - Social Work Department

The Social Work Department at Joondalup Health Campus is available to all inpatients at the campus. Social Workers work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist with patients' treatment, assessment and intervention to ensure appropriate discharge planning. The service range from Aged Care assessment (there is an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) at JHC which is consdiered an outpost team of Osborne Park ACAT) including carer stress intervention, to intervention in Family Domestic Violence, alcohol and drug issues, child protection, accommodation, loss and grief, financial concerns and assisting patients and their family in trauma from an accident.
