About Judy Reid - Primary Health Care Nurse
The role of the Primary Health Care Nurse is to provide a day a week of service to the following towns; Talbingo, Brungle, Tarcutta, Humula, Rosewood. Service supports the visiting GP by working as Practice Nurse doing immunisation, dressing and pathology in the clinic or by doing home visits and Health Assessment for the GP in the communities. Community Capacity Building to find strategies for chronic disease self management & also to identify gaps in provision within the region. This may involve submission writing for funding and health promotion activities.
