JOC provides social integration, respite care, midday meals, referrals to other agencies, advocacy and informal counselling services and activity based services and support for the mentally ill.nMembership is open and free to all adults who have a diagnosed mental illness. Focus aims to support people with mental illness to:n*Increase their participation in social, recreational and educational activities.n*Improve their quality of life.n*Maximise their ability to live successfully and independently in the community.n*Increase participation in the life of community and reduce social isolation.nFocus provides a range of activities to assist people on their recovery journeys. Hearing Voices Group (HVG) and Massage Therapy by Resident Massuer Peter Golding {PROMT} and Recreational Action Scheme - RAS - was designed and implemented focusing onnphysical health and the general well being of our members aiming at self-responsibility forna healthy life style.
