The children's hospital provide all paediatric and adolescent health services for the Hunter Region from 0 to 18 years, such as paediatric occupational therapy for children under investigation of a physical disability; paediatric speech pathology for children with communication difficulties such as acquired neurological language disorder, head injury, cleft palate and paediatric dysphagia; paediatric physiotherapy works with children with spina bifida, orthopaedics, burns, cystic fibrosis and other respiratory conditions. They have a range of outpatient clinics for; Cardiology, Child Protection, Cleft Palate, Cystic Fibrosis, Dermatology, Diabetic/Endocrine, Gastroenterology, Genetic Counselling, Learning Disorders, Immunology, Lung Function, Neonates, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Spina Bifida, Surgical and Urology. Run the Child and Family Health Nursing Service for Child Health centres, schools and community locations.
