Gindhaay Respite House offers short term care for adults with a disability, this allows their families and carers to have a well deserved break from their demanding role of caring for someone at home 24 hours a day. Respite may be taken for a few days during the week, a wekk block or a weekend every so often. Respite is intended to be a positive experience for the person with a disability, offering them a home away from home with lots of planned activities and an opportunity to meet new friend and have fun. The house can accomodate four persons at a time with one Bed being allocated for emergency respite.
